Ephesians 4:11-12 

So Christ gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and the teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

Emanuel Lutheran Church has been a member of the New Haven community since 1858.  As a member of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod we proclaim the Good News that comes to us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Emanuel Lutheran Church is a united and growing family of Christians joyfully dedicated to furthering God’s Kingdom. We further God’s Kingdom by connecting people, strengthening families, and proclaiming God’s Word.

Emanuel focuses on God’s Word to us through our worship services, Bible classes, and Sunday School.  We support our families by offering Christian Education through our shared ministry at Central Lutheran School where Christ is present in every classroom.

There are many ways the members can serve others.  We have many groups and organizations at Emanuel. Some serve our members and their families while other groups and agencies focus on community service.
